PAINT THE STARS
Iris ‘Paint The Stars' (Early to Late Season Bearded Iris)
A striking addition to the garden, Iris ‘Painted Stars’ captivates with its intricate deep purple markings, crisp white ground colour and distinctive dark brown halo detailing. Its bold patterning, bright yellow beards and subtle spicy fragrance make it an eye-catching choice for garden borders, feature plantings and specialist iris collections.
The standards feature a minimal white ground heavily stitched in deep purple, finished with a distinctive dark brown halo around the rim. Deep purple style arms complement the dramatic colouring, while the falls display a white ground heavily stitched in deep purple, creating a rich and intricate pattern. The Iris flowering period has the potential to begin late August and extend into late / early December. To ensure optimal plant health, orders are not dispatched until flowering has concluded, allowing the rhizomes adequate time to regenerate. We anticipate lifting and preparing orders from early February subject to weather conditions. If you live in a hot dry climate, we recommend not receiving your order until March. All rhizomes are professionally trimmed, washed, sanitised and air dried to ensure they are delivered in premium condition. For best establishment, the recommended planting period is February through April.
