Midseason to Late Bloom

This dramatic tall bearded iris features burgundy-brown standards and falls of the same rich hue, deepening to magenta toward the centre with brown hafts. The beards are rich brown, harmonizing with the petals for a sophisticated, moody palette. Blooming from midseason to late, it brings depth and elegance to garden borders and mixed plantings.

The Iris flowering period has the potential to begin late August and extend into late / early December. To ensure optimal plant health, orders are not dispatched until flowering has concluded, allowing the rhizomes adequate time to regenerate. We anticipate lifting and preparing orders from early February subject to weather conditions. If you live in a hot dry climate, we recommend not receiving your order until March. All rhizomes are professionally trimmed, washed, sanitised and air dried to ensure they are delivered in premium condition. For best establishment, the recommended planting period is February through April.
