IRIS AFFAIR
WAITING FOR GEORGE
WAITING FOR GEORGE
Midseason Bloom
This elegant tall bearded iris features white standards with an all over rosy-pink flush and falls in cream-white that lighten toward the centre, accented by a rosy-pink plicata edge that deepens at the hafts. The beards are burnt tangerine, adding warm contrast to the delicate blooms. Blooming in midseason, the flowers carry a slight fragrance, enhancing their charm.
The Iris flowering period has the potential to begin late August and extend into late / early December. To ensure optimal plant health, orders are not dispatched until flowering has concluded, allowing the rhizomes adequate time to regenerate. We anticipate lifting and preparing orders from early February subject to weather conditions. If you live in a hot dry climate, we recommend not receiving your order until March. All rhizomes are professionally trimmed, washed, sanitised and air dried to ensure they are delivered in premium condition. For best establishment, the recommended planting period is February through April.
